How strict should one be with child?

there are more ridiculously bad behaved children today then ever. I don't want my child to ever act like that. He is a very well behaved child. We are very consistent with him. It seems like when we start being more lenient with him, because he is very well behaved, he takes that leniency and misbehaves. By misbehaves I mean he throws huge temper tantrums when he is told he isn't allowed to touch something he knows he has never been allowed to touch, or when its time to come inside from playing outside. He is almost 2 years old, we do spank him if he is doing something dangerous such as touching outlets or walking into the road. Otherwise we use a time out chair. He goes in the time out chair for one half hour. this seems like a long time, but the time out chair is comfortable and the time is enough that he usually is told to sit in his time out chair once a day or every other day. every time he comes out of the chair we ask him to explain why he was punished and to say sorry. This has always worked, except recently he has began saying that mommy (me) touched what he wasn't allowed to touch, or mommy didnt listen. I tell him he is the one who did it, and he repeatedly blames it on me. does anyone have any suggestions on how to parent a child, where they have respect and listen? What is too strict?

My girlfriend cheated on me with her Ex, what should I do?

Love after 3 weeks? Sorry dude.....that's not love. Mature love takes time to grow and flourish. "Lust" happens quickly. She cheated? Screw her dude.......she's worthless.... take her back and you should expect more of the same.

Why do people brag about the achievements of their race but never brag about their own?

mostly people bring these things up in arguments on what race is better and bring up all of these inventions and achievements, but everybody always fails to mention what they have done. why should we take credit for what our ancestor or people who just so happen to have the same skin color as us have accomplished?

When we Christians are asked to name the greatest scientific contribution which Creation Science has made to..?

The term "Creation Science" is an oxymoron. Creationism completely goes against science. The truth is, there isn't a shred of scientific evidence that supports creationist theory.

Will I get any leniency or help? 10 points for a quick and helpful answer.?

depending on the teacher they might give you an extension. ask if he can make up a new test so other students can't give you the answers or maybe have him/her come to your dorm and administer the test there so you won't have to move as much. get the doctor to write a letter explaining your condition and the need for rest and such. if not talk to administration and see what they can do about your testing situation

Do you think the Bible contains the whole of God's message to people?

I am curious if you think that it is possible that God said everything that needed said to humankind in the books of the Bible or do you think that he might still be "speaking" to people in this day and age? Men physically wrote the Bible so it is hard to believe that they didn't put it into the context of the knowledge/customs of the people at that time period. My understanding is that some books of the Bible were rewritten, excluded, and probably modified to some extent at some point in history, or am I wrong about that? So the real question is do you think that God would stop speaking to us because I would think that God would want us to understand the message rather than hang on the exact words that ultimately were the work of a flawed human understanding of the message. Why aren't there prophets anymore? Does anyone else think that it possible that as humans have advanced in science and our understanding of the universe that God's message to us right now might differ from the message that was delivered to man all those years ago. I don't mean that the core message has changed but our understanding of exact details might shift. An example is "be fruitful and multiply" which would make sence in ancient times where the world didn't have 6 billion people. Do you think God might be wanting to tell us, whoa, ok you got that part figured out, now chill out on it because you are starting to destroy the rest of my creation. All opinions are welcome even for athiests that might have considered this but I don't need preached at so please just give me your personal opinion rather than quoting a bunch of Bible verses or saying God doesn't exist, (you can just pretend he/she does). This question includes any other religions too, Christianity is just the one I am somewhat familiar with. 10 pts to the most honest answer (that I like :D ).

DUI for driving with weed in your car?

my brothers roommate recently got pulled over and the police found a little pot in his car now he is getting a DUI even though he wasn't smoking it or high. Do people often get this charge taken down or at least get a little leniency?
