Should I go to court and ask for leniency or pay the fine?

I got a ticket for going 82 in a 60 mile zone in Madison County, VA. The officer gave me a speeding ticket instead of a reckless driving ticket. Should I pay the fine or go to court, plead guilty and ask for leniency? If I pay the fine, it's 6 points on my record.
