What is the worst invention ever made?

The television! Here I go on about back in the old days, but we use to get out more, go visiting, and play family games. I 'm just as guilty as anyone else asking what is on tonight. Kids are exposed to some pretty violent stuff, and sex. We have started watching the History channel more. Well enough of my rambling. :-). I guess I shouldn't really accuse the TV itself, it is how people manage their time with it.
