Do You Think Abused Wives Who Kill Their Husbands Should Have Leniency?

She should of gotten away from him before it got to that point, but I can understand a woman loving a man, and not leaving, because she keeps hoping he will change. Then one day she finally just snaps. He has abused her for the last time. She is angry. She does not think of the circumstances, and she blows his head off. I call it self defense. Especially if she has had the law involved. they arrest him, he gets out and beats her for having him arrested.
