My teacher wont let me type up my notes?

Found an article which states that either writing or typing notes will help with memory retention. That said, this writer takes written notes and within a few hours transfers the written notes to computer. That sounds like a really good practice since you are basically doing the notes twice. Something that helps the information go from short term memory to long term memory. Sounds like a good practice for you. Write the notes in class and then transfer to computer later. Teacher will be happy, you'll have the notes organized as you like on computer, and your retention will be even better.
