What do you think on the inventions of sphygmamanometer and MRI?

Do they really helped for the upgrade of Human Health? Or is it a disaster inventing Sphygmtr as the number of High BP patients increased and died due to HTN and many were misdiagnosed as having back pain due to compression of Lumbar nerves after inventing MRI? Or is it the misuse of technical advancements by the Doctors?
